Solar Thermal Applications and Economics

Summary of presentation:
The engineering and economics of solar thermal energy will be presented. The equipment and process will be described for various applications. The economics and benefits will be discussed along with the future direction of the industry.

Presenter biography:
Scott Slisher, Chief Operating Officer, Solargenix Energy, LLC. Mr. Slisher has numerous accomplishments solving multivariate commercial and technical energy problems and building successful teams. He has over 15 years of technical and commercial energy industry experience. Before joining Solargenix Energy, he worked for Integrys Energy Services as a Managing Director responsible for structuring and leading retail customer operations. Prior to that, he was a Vice President at American Electric Power where he worked on structured energy commodity transactions, asset development, acquisition analysis, and emerging energy technologies. He began his career with NiSource designing developing cogeneration projects for large industrial customers. He is a licensed professional engineer, LEED AP, and holds the Chartered Financial Analyst designation.
